Here’s Buddy Ebsen and Cliffie talking and laughing about a song Buddy co-wrote called “Snowshoe Thompson.” In the 1950’s, Ernie recorded “Snowshoe Thompson” with the Cliffie Stone Orchestra. Buddy also released a CD of original songs that he wrote and/or co-wrote and sang called ‘Buddy’s Originals.” This versatile and multi-talented man’s bio is incredibly fascinating! He started show business as a dancer and was in countless movies. Buddy is famously known as Jed Clampett in the long-running CBS-TV series, “The Beverly Hillbilly’s.” He was also well known as Fess Parker’s side kick in the “Davy Crockett” mini-series.
