He is known for his hilarious ‘you might be a redneck if…’ one-liners. Cliffie always thought that Jeff had a sense of humor that was akin to Tennessee Ernie Ford. In his book, he wrote: “…And the comedic baton has been passed on, for I’m happy to say that country humor is in good hands with Jeff Foxworthy. I can’t help but think of Ernie whenever Jeff stands unpretentiously before an audience and starts telling his Southern redneck jokes, which are enjoyed by everyone across-the-board He’s had several top selling albums and he continues to be one of country’s premier comedians.” Jeff’s autobiographical book, ‘No Shirt, No Shoes…No Problem’ was based on his redneck jokes. He is a member of the ‘Blue Collar Comedy Tour’ which also stars, Bill Engvall, Ron White and Larry, the Cable Guy, which has also been on cable TV.
